Osteopathy is a holistic form of medicine that considers the person in their entirety.Osteopaths use their hands to detect tension , restricted movement , or functional disorders and help the body regain its natural balance. The goal is to activate the body's self-healing powers and treat the root cause of ailments – not just the symptoms.
Acute and chronic conditionsBack, neck and joint painDigestive problemsJaw problemsConservative treatment of muscle, ligament and tendon injuriesHeadacheTension and stress symptoms
This varies greatly depending on the individual's symptoms and needs, and I can only assess it after I've seen and examined them. Often, however, 3-5 sessions spaced further apart are sufficient. For chronic conditions, longer-term support may be beneficial.
Eine osteopathische Sitzung dauert in der Regel zwischen 45 und 55 Minuten. Die Kosten pro Behandlung belaufen sich auf 100€.
Many statutory health insurance companies now cover part of the treatment costs if a doctor's certificate (e.g., a private prescription or recommendation) is provided. Private health insurance companies and supplementary insurance policies often reimburse the costs in full. Further information can be found here:https://www.osteokompass.de/patienteninfo-krankenkassen-Please also check with your health insurance company beforehand about the exact conditions.Should your financial situation not allow for treatment, please feel free to contact me personally and we will find a solution together.
If you have any medical documents such as findings , x-rays or doctor's reports , please bring them with you to the appointment – this will allow me to get a comprehensive picture. Please come in comfortable clothing and bring a pair of short sports shorts .After the treatment, I recommend drinking plenty of water and giving your body some time to recover.
We begin with a medical history, during which I can gain a comprehensive understanding of your case. This is followed by a physical examination using osteopathic and orthopedic tests to locate and better understand your complaint. The treatment uses manual therapy techniques to influence tissue and support self-healing.Finally, I will show them exercises so that they can continue the treatment themselves.
Naturally, treatment should be as painless as possible .However, sometimes affected tissue is already sensitive, and in certain cases a slightly stronger impulse can be helpful – this may cause mild pain in the short term. The intensity of these techniques can be individually adjusted at any time and is by no means mandatory. Your well-being is always our top priority.
