Osteopathy

Osteopathy views the human being as a complex unit in which all tissues and systems are interconnected. Many people seek osteopathic help for physical complaints – but these do not always manifest where their origin lies.

Complaints arise from a combination of different factors:

  • biological (musculoskeletal system, nervous system, nutrition, sleep),

  • psychological (stress, emotions, sexuality, habits)

  • and social (relationships, work, everyday life).

To better understand the causes, multiple perspectives and a holistic view are needed.

Therefore, a comprehensive picture of the current health situation is obtained through a detailed medical history and physical examination .

Based on sound anatomical and physiological knowledge , functional disorders in the tissue are detected using the hands.

Targeted manual therapy techniques are used to try to resolve these restrictions and restore mobility . This should improve the exchange of substances in the tissue and support the body's self-healing powers .

Movement is also an essential part of the therapy. Individualized exercises help to sustainably improve symptoms and enable the patient to actively participate in their own recovery.
